1. Một số điểm mới của phần mềm Crococdile Physics 605
Phần mềm Crocodile Physics là phần mềm được dùng để thiết kế các thí nghiệm ảo môn vật lý trong nhà trường phổ thông, có rất nhiều phiên bản của phần mềm đã được đưa ra và phiên bản mới nhất hiện nay là phiên bản Crocodile Physics 605, ra đời vào năm 2006 với rất nhiều tính năng mới so với các phiên bản trước đó. Sau đây là giới thiệu về một số điểm mới nhất của phiên bản này.

Mở rộng không gian thí nghiệm

Một tính năng hoàn toàn mới đó là giao diện thiết kế và thực hiện thí nghiệm là toàn bộ màn hình như hình bên, thêm vào đó có bổ sung phần “Getting Start” trong folder “Contents” giúp cho người sử dụng học một số bước cơ bản nhất để có thể thiết kế và sử dụng phần mềm này.

Contents
Đây là một số phần và modun xây dựng sẵn phù hợp với các chủ điểm trong chương trình giảng dạy tại trường phổ thông.

Không gian sóng 2D
Trước đây công cụ quan sát các dải sóng là 1D, tức là các đường sóng hình sin hay cosin nhưng trong phiên bản này chúng ta có thể quan sát sóng ở dạng 2D, như trong hình bên bạn có thể quan sát thấy một thí nghiệm khá trực quan, sống động, gây chú ý cho học sinh bởi vì trông nó giống một hòn bi được thả vào nước và ta nhìn thấy sóng nước đang lan truyền.

Dây nối thiết bị điện
Mặc định dây nối giữa các thiết bị điện là căng ngay cả khi di chuyển các thiết bị như hình bên.

Quang học
Phần này cũng được cải tiến nhiều so với phiên bản trước về giao diện sử dụng.

Máy móc
Như hình bên ta có thể thấy hình ảnh dụng cụ thí nghiệm ảo này rất gần với vật thật, đây là một bước đột phá rất quan trọng góp phần đưa các thí nghiệm trực quan hơn, giúp cho học sinh dễ dàng liên hệ với thực tế và nhớ bài dễ dàng hơn.

Chuyển động
Chuyển động là một cải tiến mới và được sử dụng linh hoạt.

Đồ thị
Đồ thị giúp dễ dàng thiết lập thí nghiệm hơn.

Mô tả
Đây là phần trợ giúp để thiết kế các thí nghiệm nhìn chuyên nghiệp hơn.

Ngữ cảnh
Bạn có thể tạo ngữ cảnh vào và ra logic của bạn trên một ảnh nền.

2. Giới thiệu các công cụ
Dưới đây là màn hình chính của phần mềm Crocodile Physics 605:

Sau đây tôi xin giới thiệu các công cụ sử dụng phần mềm Crocodile Physics 605, trước hết nói đến thanh menu ngang trên cùng gồm có:

Phần Contents là các ví dụ có sẵn theo chủ đề, như đã nói đây là phần rất mới gồm các ví dụ đã được xây dựng sẵn theo các chủ đề như mô tả chuyển động, các mạch điện, … với mỗi modun đã có các dụng cụ thí nghiệm phù hợp với chủ đề và bạn chỉ cần chọn dụng cụ thích hợp để thực hiện thí nghiệm. Nhưng đây chỉ là một số chủ đề cơ bản, để có thể thiết kế được toàn bộ các thí nghiệm phục vụ cho giảng dạy và học tập thì cần thiết phải xem các ví dụ này và sau đó bạn tự thiết kế các thí nghiệm phù hợp với bài giảng trên lớp bằng các dụng cụ được lấy trong phần Part Library.

Parts Library
Đây là thư viện các dụng cụ thí nghiệm vật lý ảo, với các dụng cụ này bạn hoàn toàn có thể thiết kế toàn bộ các thí nghiệm vật lý trong trường phổ thông, tuy nhiên để cho thí nghiệm trở nên chuyên nghiệp hơn thì phải kết hợp sử dụng các dụng cụ này kết hợp các dụng cụ hỗ trợ thực hiện thí nghiệm trong foder Presentation của phần này.

Các công cụ hỗ trợ thiết kế thí nghiệm
Giới thiệu các công cụ hỗ trợ thiết kế thí nghiệm chuyên nghiệp hơn đó là foder Presentation trong thư viện các dụng cụ thí nghiệm Parts Library. Ngoài các dụng cụ thí nghiệm ảo còn có các dụng cụ hỗ trợ như thước đo, đồ thị, tranh vẽ, các nút dừng thí nghiệm hay thực hiện lại thí nghiệm, …
